Volkswagen OFF-Road Experience

Project details

On April 24, a new season of the Volkswagen off-Road experience project started. Representatives of key media were the first to evaluate the capabilities of cars and the complexity of the route. Thanks to the professional work of the agency's PR specialists, 45 journalists from 30 accredited media covered the event.

The off-road test took place in two group races, in each of which 20 to 25 journalists participated. Before leaving the track, the participants were given instructions on off-road driving and the technical capabilities of cars.

Off-road experience
Under the guidance of professional instructors trained by best German experts, media representatives successfully overcame one of the most difficult off-road tracks in Europe. The Volkswagen brand has included in the Off-Road Experience program not only the Touareg SUV, but also the track-and-field Tiguan crossover. Two tracks with natural and artificial obstacles were developed. Two tracks with natural and artificial obstacles had been built specifically for these cars: 45-degree ascents and descents, a ford, bridge, traverses, ditches, etc.

At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates of participants of the Volkswagen off-Road driving course, press materials, as well as gifts from Volkswagen Castrol, the global partner of Volkswagen.

Eventum Premo has been successfully cooperating with the Volkswagen brand for more than 15 years. Special events were also organised as part of PR services. Examples of such cooperation are: preparing a press base and working with journalists at the motor Show in 2008, the presentation of the Volkswagen Tiguan to the press, inviting and accrediting leading media to foreign test drives, and more.

Eventum Premo team provided PR support for the event, including media invitation and accreditation, preparation of press materials, and press coordination.
